About Signaldeck

Built to help people hear customers clearly and act faster.

Signaldeck is a feedback workflow for people improving a website, product, or service who want useful customer signal without building a research operation around it.

Website feedbackHosted flowsResponse patternsClearer decisions

A feedback loop instead of a pile of disconnected responses.

The product is designed around a simple idea: collect feedback in context, keep it attached to the page or product moment that triggered it, and make the next decision easier.

Focused

Ask narrower questions.

Signaldeck is built for flows that match a page, launch, feature, or funnel step rather than one giant survey trying to do everything at once.

Practical

Keep feedback close to action.

Responses should help you decide what to fix, test, explain better, or remove from the roadmap.

Lightweight

Use it without adding process overhead.

The goal is to make customer feedback easier to collect and easier to work through, not to create a new operations burden.

It started inside Timetoast, with too much valuable feedback and no clean way to work through it.

The original problem

Signaldeck is built by Daniel Todd, the founder behind Timetoast, a timeline maker used by millions of people to create and share interactive timelines. It grew out of a very practical problem: customer feedback kept arriving in ways that were useful but hard to manage, from messages and notes to forms, informal conversations, and different languages.

Where the friction showed up

Sorting responses, spotting trends, comparing different types of users, and deciding what mattered most took too much time. The organisation around the feedback was weaker than the feedback itself.

What we wanted instead

We wanted a way to collect feedback in context, keep it structured, and make it easier to move from raw responses to a confident product decision.

Why Signaldeck exists

Signaldeck exists to create that simpler feedback loop: focused flows, easier installation, clearer response review, and a stronger connection between what people said and what happens next.
